JRoberts | International Linear Collider | If it was just a matter of scientists satisfying their curiosity it wouldn’t be worth it IMO. I understand the price tag is somewhere between $6 – $10 billion. If you look at the jobs created, and the medical and material science that will benefit, I think it becomes worth doing. There are gambling casinos now that cost $2 billion so I don’t think $6 billion is outrageous. |
